This lime puree is made with Key & Persian Limes: The Key Lime, also known as Bartender Lime is small and sweet and is sourced in Mexico. The Persian Lime, also known as Bears Lime, is a seedless lime introduced by the Spanish and Portugese in the New World. It is used in the national drink of Brasil, The Caipirinha. In the 19th Century the British Navy used lime against scurvy, resulting in the use of the nickname “Limey” for the British sailor.
Lime is the sour base of almost all cocktails. It makes or breaks your cocktail. Our lime juice has a full lime taste with no bitter tones. The bitterness, caused by the oils in the lime skin, is removed by our gentle pealing process. Our lime varietes were selected after a blind taste test, to find the best limes with finest acidity & no bitterness. Needless to say that lime makes a beautiful synergie with all flavours.
This product contains naturally occuring sugars.
Conditions for use
Thaw the fruitpuree for 24 hours in the refrigerator (+4°C) or in defrost setting in the microwave, after removing the seal from the bottle. Shake before use.
